About Our Client
Our client is a global leader in the Chemical industry with a huge presence across Asia Pacific. As part of their search for top talent and succession planning, they are now looking for a Regional Internal Auditor to join the dynamic team based in the regional headquarter here in Singapore. This is an organisation with strong emphasis on career development and offers opportunities for internal rotation to other finance functions in the long term.
Reporting to the Regional Internal Audit Manager, you will focus on operational audits, business process reviews, and financial & compliance audits, looking to implement best practice and effective controls across the region. You will identify and analyse business risks associated with a broad range of business processes. You will help to identify operational improvements and develop cost-effective measures to mitigate overall exposure to business risks. You will also be responsible for planning and tailoring your audit activities to ensure value is added to all businesses supported.
The Successful Applicant
You should possess a degree in Accounting from reputable universities with about 3-5 years post-graduation experience from the Big 4. You have an eye for detail and have strong diplomatic skills to deal with regional and cultural issues. You are an independent worker and a good team player, with good communication skills. You are independent, geographically mobile and fluency in Mandarin is a must.
