About Our Client
Our client is a MNC famous by providing premium connectivity solution Worldwide. Their products are manufacturer in Europe and USA and they target sectors such Defence, Semiconductor, Aerospace. They have created this position as part of their business plan to expand SEA market by leveraging on tier 1 distributor network.
The Channel Sales Manager will be reporting to the VP of Global Sales, the main responsibilities will be:
- Act as the point of contact between our client and assigned brands and distributors
- The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for SEA region, Australia and New Zealand
- Develop tactical strategies to increase distributor sales and create business plans for distributors to meet growth objectives
- Evaluate distributor performance against business and growth objectives by performing quarterly business reviews.
- Coordinate training for distributors
- Monitor stock rotation and develop stocking programmes for distributors based on business needs.
- Schedule and perform quality audits of distributor sites
- Notify Sales Management of major sales opportunities
- Respond to complaints received from distributors
- Assist in scheduling participation in regional trade shows with MARCOM
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the VP of Global Sales
The Successful Applicant
For this position its required:
- Minimum of 5 years experience of electro-mechanical product distribution management experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering and related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and ideally Mandarin
- Ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints
- Experience in SEA Market
