About Our Client
Our client is global conglomerate and a well-known brand within the media / entertainment sector. They are a global leader in Europe and have extensive market presence in America, Australia and most recently Asia. Through a series of acquisitions and investments, they have penetrated into emerging countries in Southeast Asia and is primed for further growth in the next 5 years. They have decided to position their Asia Pacific headquarter in Singapore and is looking to hire an experienced CFO to helm their regional finance team.
Reporting to the Managing Director (Asia Pacific) as well as Group CFO, you are part of the executive management team and will provide strategic leadership to key internal and external stakeholders. As the regional financial leader, you will oversee all aspects of financial matters which includes accounting, tax, treasury, financial controls and statutory compliance and reporting. You are a key commercial partner to the Managing Director in driving business performance, market expansion and investment decisions. Working closely with country managers and regional functional leaders, you will be tasked with forecasting revenue streams and tracking operational costs. You will provide strategic analyses to support organic growth in key markets while assessing potential opportunities. You are a key pillar in the organisation and is expected to upscale the finance team in achieving maximum efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you are a seasoned and qualified finance leader with more than 15 year's experience in leadership positions. Background in a Big 4 accounting firm with subsequent experience in Asia Pacific markets is key in this role. You possess an excellent track record in financial capabilities and has demonstrated ability to develop financial talents within large organisations. Exposure in media / digital sectors will be highly desirable. You are a charismatic leader who can connect and influence senior internal and external stakeholders. Strong knowledge of ERP systems and ability to adapt to a fast changing dynamic environment will be critical to succeed in this role.
