About Our Client
Our client is a global facility management organisation with physical operations across most countries in the world. Whilst their head office is in Europe - they have experience in Asia for 25+ years and have extensive clients across every industry verticals. Whilst they adapt their solution for every client - their goal is to find synergy within both their organisation and with their suppliers to meet those needs/solutions.
This is a newly created position reporting through to the Asia & ANZ Procurement Director and has been identified as a key position to deliver the strategic procurement goals of the organisation and add significant value to their clients. This position will be focus on sub-contractor categories which include the following:
- Service technicians/engineers
- Lift maintenance suppliers
- HVAC maintenance supplier
- Cleaning & Waste management services
- Temporary labour
- Catering services
The Successful Applicant
You will come from a procurement background within the services, hospitality, FM sectors and have an appreciation for Supply Chain. You will have provide project experience in $100mil+ on one project to consolidate and rationalise a supplier base whilst driving both supplier and stakeholders to agree and honours agreed terms.
Ideally you will have deep experience on one or more of the categories mentioned in the job description.
You will be professional and have a a track record of influencing stakeholders across the region (Asia & ANZ) and ideally have work in environment where procurement is not a mandated.
You will be comfortable in an individual contributor position.
What's on Offer
This is a newly created high profile internal position which will join as one of the inaugural Asia based strategic procurement positions. Over the next 3 to 5 years the plan for our client is to develop a small procurement team here in Singapore/Asia which will allow you to both mentor and potential step up in position over that time.
Travel for this position will sit between 10% to 25%.
