About Our Client
Our client, a global leader in travel and tourism, a trailblazer in providing a unique and comprehensive customer experience with sites located worldwide, with heavy presence. They are looking for an expert media buyer, who will own the day-to-day media buying processes, as the centralised point of contact for all media buying. Overseeing the East and South Asia pacific regions, the ideal candidate will be best positioned to work with both internal partners and external partners in finding the right budget for the right campaigns, for maximal return on investment.
Headquartered in Singapore, you will be directly reporting to the senior vice president for marketing, who comes with decades of experience in hospitality leading successful digital campaigns.
You will drive media buying for all countries under your purview, working directly with country managers and their individual marketing teams, as well as agency partners to ensure strategy, budget, and execution are aligned at all times.
Your KPI is clear: Your success will be based upon your ability to drive incremental revenue, cost savings while maximising campaign output per spend through media buying, strategy, and campaign management.
In addition to the above, the successful applicant will be:
- Expert in media buying - Being the main area of focus, you will be adept at end-to end process for the digital voice & prominence of the brand, able to utilise all major digital marketing campaign tricks, tools, and platforms
- Analytically minded - Driven by KPIs, ROIs, and analysis, you own your campaign numbers, able to deftly communicate your every move to leadership
- Adept at stakeholder management - You will deal directly with internal and external stakeholders, dealing with internal leadership, marketing teams, as well agency partners. You can hold your own through your expertise.
- Knowledgeable about market movements - You follow, understand, and action your industry knowledge to get a leg up on the competition. Your media buying, as a result, is always a step ahead.
The Successful Applicant
- A minimum of 5+ years in digital media buying
- Expertise in media buying and campaign platforms: Google Analytics Premium, Google Adwords, Adserver, SEA bidding tools, and programmatic buying platforms. Hands-on media buying knowledge for these are a must.
- Knowledge of Google stack is a plus
- Adept at search, display, and social media advertising
- Experience within the tourism and/or hospitality industries are a bonus
