About Our Client
Our client is a US MNC with a strong heritage in providing families with healthy, authentic food & beverages globally. They have international reach and their products are sold across the globe. They continue to grow as market leaders in both technological advancements and the quality of their products. Due to aggressive growth across the retail sector, they are looking to appoint a Key Account Manager to join their high performing team based in Singapore.
You will be representing a brand that is built around a rich heritage and global success and which is well positioned for continued growth in the region. You will deliver and exceed sales targets, with a focus on new business acquisition.
You will report directly to the GM who oversees both the sales & marketing team in SG:
You will cultivate customer relationships and drive business growth in your assigned key account (Modern Trade) working and partnering closely with distributors.
You will maintain and grow existing customer relationships, proactively identify and capitalize on areas of opportunity and aim to address customer needs and distribution goals.
You will be working in a cohesive environment where you are part of a team that is uniformly focused on driving profitability and continuity.
You will analyze sales data and market information in order to formulate retail and sales projections. You will partner the marketing and brand teams closely in rolling out promotional and marketing activities.
This role is a single contributor role where you get the autonomy to influence and recommend innovative solutions to partner with your distributors to further grow and strengthen the existing relationships with your retailers in Singapore.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful, you must possess key account management experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong track record in either the F&B/Modern Trade channels. You are self-motivated and persevering, with strong interpersonal skills and a customer oriented outlook. You are ambitious and entrepreneurial in your outlook, with a strong drive to succeed. Candidates who have experience within the F&B industry will stand a distinct advantage.
You will be highly motivated and capable of identifying opportunities for business growth. Furthermore you will ideally have:
- Minimum 3-5 years FMCG experience as an Key Accounts Manager, preferably within the FMCG F&B sector
- Strong communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct joint business planning independently with the various retailers.
- A demonstrated ability to work both independently & within a team environment and has prior experience managing distributors.
