About Our Client
Our client is a US MNC that is currently dominating the technology and service space. With offices in more than 15 countries and 15,000 employees worldwide, they are currently focusing on growth in Asia. As such, they have leveraged on their success and proven track record in the Americas and Europe, resulting in quick and sustainable growth in Asia. The Singapore office boasts a flexible and cohesive working environment, and currently they are searching for a talented individual to help further propel their expansion.
As the Hybrid Accountant reporting to the Finance Manager, you will first be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, overseeing and resolving the issues handled by the Shared Service team, and also looking at inventory management and reporting. At the same time, you will be responsible for management reporting, budgeting, and analysis work. You will also be supporting corporate tax and GST matters, and providing your expertise in relation to compliance and control. Due to the lean structure of the Singapore Finance team, you must be willing and ready to take on a hands-on role.
The Successful Applicant
As the successful candidate, you should possess:
- Degree in Accountancy/ACCA/CPA
- External audit experience (preferably from Big 4) prior to commercial experience
- At least 3 years of commercial working experience from an MNC
- US GAAP knowledge is advantageous
- Willingness to take on a hands-on role
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Ability to provide impactful presentations to upper management
- Positive energy and attitude towards work
