About Our Client
Our client is globally recognised organization in the Pharma industry. As part of its strong commitment to growing the business in Asia today, they are now looking for a tenacious Plant HR Head to be an integral part of the business. The ideal candidate will need to establish personal credibility rapidly, identify the HR competencies to support business growth in the region.
Reporting directly to the Singapore General Manager, you will be leading a team of 4 HR professionals and be tasked in managing the manufacturing plant with a total headcount of approximately 300 people. This position requires the individual to be more strategic in their approach towards the plant and its stakeholders in terms of driving across HR policies, employee engagement activities and change management. You will be required to possess a deep understanding of the operations and working closely with the unions to ensure compliance.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should come with a minimum of 10 years of HR experience, equipped with a degree in Human Resources or its equivalence. The successful candidate should have possess strong manufacturing background with at exposure to dealing and managing unions. They are looking for someone who possesses strong interpersonal skills and is able to deal with different levels of stakeholders with the ability to be hands-on at the same time. The candidate should have the ability to be hands-on while at the same time to look at things at a strategic level to ensure the human capital success of the organization.
