About Our Client
Our Client is a fast-growing and solid organization within the retail industry. Due to continuing business needs and aggressive expansion in the region, they are currently seeking a high calibre and hands-on individual to join the regional HR team based in Singapore.
Reporting to the HR Director, your role is to set-up and implement the HR strategy, policy and procedures of the organization in Singapore. Part of the role will also be to support the administrative tasks which will be part of the initial office set-up. In an individual capacity role, you will be responsible for the full range of HR activities, encompassing employee life cycle activities (recruitment, induction, on-boarding, performance management, exits), policy and process implementation and customer relationships. Additionaly, you will be responsible for liaising with the MOM for application and renewal of work permits and other compliance issues. You will also own, drive, design and deliver HR projects impacting managers, employees or stakeholders. The organization in Singapore will be constantly developing and changing so the role requires autonomy, flexibility, resilience, independence and capability to work and succeed in a dynamic environment.
The Successful Applicant
You should be a degree qualified HR professional with at least 4 years of working experience in a HR Generalist role, ideally with experience in the luxury environment. You should possess a strong understanding of Singapore Employment Law and be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You should be able to lead a team and be the point of contact for business leaders on all HR matters.
