About Our Client
Our client is a global organisation, that feels like a start up, but has an exciting well know brand at the heart of their business. They are in the process of reestablishing the brand in the markets globally, and this is an exciting time to join the team and be part of this growth phase. They are a European based business, a collective of passionate individuals with values including collaboration, innovation and being risk takers.
Head of Channel Operations is responsible for the development, design, operation and optimization for strategy/processes/people/systems to create and deliver against the business objectives.
As the Business Managers are involved in the day to day execution, it is the role of the Operations Head, working in partnership with the marketing head, to act as the nerve centre for local country office and to steer the Country Operations in the right direction.
Reporting to both the country manager and the regional head of operations you will be a key voice at the table in steering strategic decision making in the Philippines.
Managing a small team you will be a great leader of both of your team and also internal and external stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
Minimum 8-10 years + experience in a trade marketing or channel operations role, ideally based in the FMCG/Consumer goods/telco sectors. You may also be working for a distributor, acting as the link between retailers and brands.
An innovative an entrepreneurial mind is critical to this role - and someone that is keen to move to a start up operation would be ideal.
Previous experience of working in a larger global MNC is essential, so that you are used to working in a matrix environment.
