About Our Client
Our client is a Government linked corporation that has been a key pillar in the Singapore economy for the last 50 years. They are a stable and progressive organisation that prides itself on work life culture and career rotational opportunities. Due to recent changes, there is now a need for a high calibre Group Risk Manager to join its Singapore head office.
Reporting to the Head of Group Internal Audit & Risk Management, you are part of a dynamic team responsible for the planning and execution of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Global Insurance Programs for all entities. You will work with various stakeholders to implement ERM policy and framework, reviewing and managing risk events, identifying control gaps and consolidating information for the management and risk committee. You will provide support to raise BCM capabilities group-wide, conduct table-top simulations to assess adequacy and effectiveness and oversee the process for group insurance tenders.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, you have a degree in finance or accounting with minimum 6 to 10 years of work experience, of which at least 3 in a risk management capacity in a large organisation. You should have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work well in a team and have an ability to influence to garner support from stakeholders. You are an independent individual who is driven, energetic and sensitive to cultural differences. You are business oriented, confident and ready to travel from time to time.
