About Our Client
Our client is an established and stable organization, which is part of the global network in the shipping industry. Committed to drive their business forward, there has been continuous expansion of their business globally through joint ventures, acquisitions and organic growth.
Reporting directly to the Vice President, you will be part of the Group Commercial Development team responsible for the strategic planning and collaborations for the business operations. The role includes performing market, customer and competitive analysis research to identify opportunities to develop growth for the organization. It will also include high level of client engagement; regularly update them with product information and changes. You are also the key personnel providing hands on business support and guidance to the team. Additionally, you will be holding a high visibility role, working very closely with relevant stakeholders to drive the business forward, evaluating new opportunities and supporting business developments.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should possess an Accountancy/Business degree or a professional Accounting qualification with at least 4 years of postgraduate experience. You are a proven leader with relevant working experience where prior customer centric experience would be advantageous. You are a confident, self-motivated, versatile team player who possesses strong communication, interpersonal skills with good business acumen. You are able to liaise with the senior management to drive process improvements and influence across all levels of the business. As a mature and independent individual, you thrive in a dynamic environment.
