About Our Client
Established more than 40 years ago, our client prides themselves to be one of the leading International F&B chain with extensive presence across Europe, North America and Asia. To date, they presently have more than a 1000 self-owned and franchised stores globally.
The Operations Director will be responsible for:
- Store Operations
Establish criteria for generating sales to meet projected sales plan and developing and creating new concepts
Roll out approved sales projections to the field and monitor closely market conditions and competition and report.
Raising levels of operational performance and achieving results
Provide analysis of monthly/quarterly/annual sales performance
Formulate and implement innovative strategic operational business plan to ensure continuous business growth, achieve maximum profit, business synergy and competitive advantage.
Communicate needs of the field to warehouse, production, marketing, accounting, purchasing, and human resource.
Create and implement labor, maintenance, suppliers and COGS costs budgets for the field.
Provide communication to the field to ensure compliance to costs strategy.
Establishing and accomplishing organizational objectives by recommending operational strategies
Ensures that standard operating procedures are upheld to deliver high quality service.
Ensures that District Managers and training team follows up with implementation of standards
Conduct regular impromptu audit on the service, inventory, and cash to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures.
Share incidents of quality service of excellence to motivate other staff.
Achieving customer satisfaction and customer loyalty by anticipating customers' perceptions.
- Developing annual operating and capital budget
Developing people and identifying suitable locations for expansion.
Development of stores, optimizing sales, managing expenses and spearheads the company visibility and continued growth.
Provide input in the design of the store to ensure smooth workflow and best possible presentation.
Follow up with contractors' work of progress and report any deviation, sub-standard work or material or delays.
Establish good relationship and goodwill with the landlord and complex management.
Co-ordinate between the landlord's requirement and contractor's demolition and renovation works.
Provide communication as needed for event employee participation.
Work closely with Training Manager & District Managers to create and maintain positive company morale.
Developing people for succession planning.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- At least 8-10 years in a Manager capacity (Operations/managing the stores P&L)
- Strong exposure in Coffee industry/chain store experience / F&B industry/ QSR industry
- Prior concrete track record in managing people
- Excellent track record in managing outlets and expanding/ opening new outelts
