About Our Client
Our client is an established and yet fast-growing global company with APAC headquarters based in Singapore. Globally known in the Entertainment industry, they are currently rapidly expanding across South East Asia and are looking to recruit a Director, Digital Advertising to grow their revenue across the region as well as expand their successful digital sales team.
Reporting into the Regional Managing Director, you will grow the group's digital advertising business and lead a team of digital advertising sales across the region. Interacting with digital agencies, the product team and the account management lead, you will drive business to align digital brand's objectives with advertising digital capabilities. Your client-facing abilities, strong relationship network and industry expertise will help you to close strategic deals across South East Asia. You will also:
- Recruit, train and grow a team of digital sales across the region
- Build new partnerships to grow revenue of sales advertising solutions across social, apps, website,,, through branded digital contents and media buying.
- Lead sales by proactively expanding a defined account lists, pitching new businesses, responding to RFP's.
- Develop your expertise in Digital, Social media and online brand advertising solutions
The Successful Applicant
- Masters or Bachelors Degree preferably in Advertising, Business or Management
- A minimum of 10 years experience in advertising sales position, most of which at a leadership level in a Digital-focused business
- Proven track record meeting ambitious revenue targets in a competitive market and selling digital branded content (social, video, content...)
- Established network at C-level across brands and media/digital agencies in South East Asia
- Solid online advertising understanding and ability to initiative creative advertising strategies
- Proactive leadership experience with a track record building a dynamic and independent sales team
