This is a newly created position in the Asia Pacific Region focusing on improvement processes to support maintenance, repair and diagnostic capabilities on 3rd party Lifts/Escalators in the field, with a view to improving overall safety and quality development. The key area of focus will be to develop 3rd Party fundamental and product specific field training modules and to assure these are cascaded down to the field engineers across operations in Asia Pacific. At group level you will support the implementation of the Hotline/Field Support teams as well as identifying and sharing Schindler Best Demonstrated Practices worldwide. In addition you will develop and revise documents and tools for global 3rd Party companies and be responsible for deployment of all relevant resources in the field. You will be supporting the Existing Installation Business on various topics.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, the successful applicant will have a minimum of 5-8 years experience within a global firm in the Lift & Escalator Industry, with strong technical skills on maintenance and troubleshooting and an expert understanding of Lift technologies. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of systematically analyzing and capturing industry knowledge in order to implement a robust business process for the engineers to follow. We are looking therefore for process driven candidates with an analytical and systematic approach to working. You will need to be a team player and possess the influencing skills to engage with wide ranging stakeholders and a culturally diverse customer base. It is imperative that every action is value driven to bring about maximum benefit to your customers.
